Moncton Man Pleads Guilty To Armed Robbery

Surveillance video and tips from the public have helped Codiac RCMP find an armed robbery suspect.

Police say 32-year-old Jason Penney has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident last Tuesday night.

A man entered the Needs Convenience at Mountain and Gorge Roads store armed with a knife and fled with cash.

Mounties apprehended him two days later.

Penney has pleaded guilty to armed robbery and will be sentenced at a later date.
