Moncton Man Faces Firearms Charges In Amherst

A Moncton man faces numerous firearms charges after events in Amherst, Nova Scotia last week.

Twenty-three-year-old Jack Mackenzie Coyle was arrested in Moncton without incident by Codiac RCMP and members of the Amherst Police on Monday.

Officers also had a warrant to search the man’s home.

Coyle remains in custody and is scheduled to make another court appearance in Amherst.

A 22-year-old man from Moncton is also facing similar firearms-related charges but was released on conditions and is due in court on June 20.
