A 58-year-old man from Moncton has been charged with possession of child pornography.
Police say the charge stems from an investigation that began in July 2024 after they received information from the public.
On July 19, 2024, officers searched a home in Dieppe, where the man was arrested.
Mounties reported that several electronic devices were seized during the search.
The charges were laid against the man on Tuesday in court, and he was released on conditions.
Authorities say the accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
