A Moncton man has been charged in connection with an investigation into child pornography.
Police began the investigation in November 2022, following information received from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
On Feb. 14, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Moncton as part of the investigation.
A 47-year-old man was been arrested at the scene, and police seized several electronic devices.
On May 11, the accused was charged with accessing, possessing, and making available child pornography.
A trial is set for May 2024.
