Moncton man arrested after drugs and weapon seizure

A 61-year-old Moncton man has been arrested after drugs and a weapon were seized from a Mill Road home.

RCMP searched the residence on May 2 where they found quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and hydromorphone, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia, illegal tobacco, ammunition, a 3D-printed handgun and money.

The man was later released with another court date in August.

This search is part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug trafficking in the Moncton area between the Codiac Regional RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit and the New Brunswick Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU).
