MoneySense Magazine releases a list of the Best Places to Live in Canada every year, and this year Moncton cracked the top 50 list.
Moncton was the only Maritime community to be listed in the top 50 coming in at 49th spot.
Fredericton was listed at 109, while Saint John came in at 191st.
In Nova Scotia, Halifax ranked 74th, the Cape Breton Regional Municipality at 217th and New Glasgow at last spot ranked 219th.
The top three places to live in Canada are all in Ontario, with Ottawa ranking number one, Burlington number two, and Oakville at third spot.
Thousands of other cities and towns in the country didn’t make the list, so communities should be proud they made the top 219 places in Canada.
