Moncton Headstart’s Christmas Toyland is seeking toys and monetary gifts from the community as it helps underprivileged families during the holiday season.
More than 16-hundred children received gifts from the campaign last year.
Headstart executive director Mary O’Donnell says toys are needed for all ages but gifts for teens are especially appreciated.
“So we have a tendency to always be low in that particular section. Any support that we can receive in that category is always greatly welcomed for sure.
From now until December 21st, new toys without being wrapped can be dropped off at all Jean Coutu locations in Metro or at Moncton Headstart.
Monetary donations can be mailed or dropped off at Headstart on Mountain Road or by visiting their website.
