Moncton Headstart Serving Families In School Supplies Drive

Moncton Headstart hopes to help about 900 children and their families with the purchase of school supplies in their annual drive.

Registration is already underway and the organization will begin serving some of those families this week.

Executive director Mary O’Donnell says all kinds of school supplies are needed and she encourages anyone who wants to help to look for back-to-school sales.

“We have a little bit of an inventory to start with but that inventory does not last very long,” she notes.

O’Donnell encourages anyone who wants to help out to look for back-to-school sales.

School supplies can be dropped off at all Jean Coutu locations in Greater Moncton, Giant Tiger on Mapleton Road and cash donations can be made at Moncton Headstart on Mountain Road.
