Another non-profit organization in Greater Moncton has been targeted by vandalism – this time it was Moncton Headstart.
Two tires have been damaged, one on each of the Headstart buses.
Executive director Mary O’Donnell says their surveillance video showed a man on a bicycle last Sunday around 11:30am.
“Somebody had been around the buses and it appears as though they punctured each of the tires with an object that caused the tires to flatten,” she notes.
O’Donnell says there will be a cost involved to not only replace the tires but also having both buses towed to a repair shop.
On the bright side, the buses are used for their children’s programs and O’Donnell adds those take a break in August.
Codiac RCMP are investigating and if anyone has more information, you’re asked to contact police at 506-857-2400.
