October is well known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and that means many people involved in fundraisers and awareness campaigns.
Moncton firefighters are no exception, as they are showing their support by wearing and selling pink uniform shirts.
Moncton Firefighter Jeremy Quillian says this is their third year doing the campaign.
“Last year we raised $3,825 and the year before that it was just around the same mark, just a little bit over $4,000 I believe,” says Quillian.
Moncton Firefighters will be at the Vaughan Harvey Sobeys location today between 12 and 3 collecting donations, all in support of breast cancer research.
