Moncton firefighters help grant life changing wishes

Months of photography and hard work have paid off for Moncton Firefighters.

They raised over $24 000 for Make-A-Wish Canada through the sale of their charity calendar.

A limited number of the 2026 edition was sold in the months leading up to Christmas last year.

Lieutenant Corey Gallant says they exceeded their goal to raise enough money to grant two life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

“These funds will go directly toward creating hope, strength, and joy for children and their families during incredibly challenging times. We are grateful to everyone who purchased a calendar, shared our campaign, or supported us in any way. This project is truly driven by the community.”

The Moncton Firefighters Charity Calendar Committee, along with the Moncton
Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 999, t Nigel Fearon Photography, Atlantic Superstore, Express
Image Printing and others helped to contribute to the 2026 calendar.
