Moncton firefighters and police officers are teaming up for a friendly competition today.
Emergency responders are taking part in Canadian Blood Services’ bi-annual Guns and Hoses event at the Mapleton Road blood donor clinic.
The goal is to donate 96 units of blood.
Canadian Blood Services notes how just one person who is seriously hurt in a car crash could require as many as 50 blood donations to help save their life.
