Moncton disturbance sends man to hospital

One man was taken to the hospital after what police are calling a disturbance in northeast Moncton.

Mounties said they received a 911 call from the Joyce Avenue area shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday.

Sgt. Bruno Labbé told our newsroom that one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries “consistent with a disturbance.”

Labbé was unable to say what the injuries were or how they were caused.

No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, according to the sergeant.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
