A Moncton City Councillor has made another plea to the provincial government for funding for a downtown entertainment centre.
Councillor Blair Lawrence expressed the need for an answer from the provincial government, soon.
He says, “Each day that goes by costs the city more money. We can’t go ahead without the province, or the federal government, or without private support. We need the province to make a decision.”
He says a downtown entertainment centre has the potential to provide a needed boost to our downtown and our area, and is a positive initiative that demonstrates growth, and believes this project will not just benefit Moncton, but the province as a whole.
