Moncton business facing extensive repairs after fire

It could be months before a longtime Moncton restaurant reopens after an electrical fire.

Moncton Fire responded to reports of flames coming from the front door of Freddie’s Pizza on Mountain Road on Sunday afternoon.

According to a social media post, there is extensive fire, smoke and water damage and the store equipment isn’t salvageable.

Everything is being removed and will have to be replaced.
