Moncton Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested In Halifax

Information from the public helped Codiac RCMP track down a man suspected of robbing a Moncton bank this week.

Mounties say tips led to an arrest warrant being issued for a 32-year-old man on Wednesday.

Police in Halifax apprehended David Jeremy Byrd today.

David Byrd will be returned to New Brunswick on Friday where he is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court.

The RBC branch on Main Street was robbed on Monday afternoon when a man demanded money from a teller and he got away with an amount of cash.
