Some New Brunswickers will be paying more for fuel this week while others will get a break.
An industry source says gasoline prices are expected to climb by nearly 0.5 cents per litre at midnight.
Diesel users, on the other hand, should see prices fall more than five cents, according to the source.
Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of nearly $1.65 per litre for regular self-serve, $2.10 per litre for diesel, and nearly $1.82 per litre for home heating oil.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.63 to $1.67 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.98 and $2.03 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.63 per litre, diesel costs around $2.03 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of nearly $1.45 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
