There is mixed news at the New Brunswick fuel pumps this week, according to an industry source.
The price of regular self-serve is expected to fall by just under half a cent per litre on Thursday night.
Diesel users, on the other hand, will see a slight increase of just over half a cent per litre, said the source.
Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.68 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.95 per litre for diesel and $1.60 per litre for home heating oil.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.63 to $1.68 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.91 and $1.96 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.73 per litre, diesel costs around $2.01 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.44 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
