Milling and paving begins in Dieppe

Expect lane reductions and partial street closures in Dieppe over the coming weeks.

Annual milling and paving work began Thursday on seven streets throughout the community.

That includes Bahama Street, Collette Street, Clarence-Cormier Street, Tranquille Street, J F Bourgeois Street, Vézina Court, and Raphaël Street.

“Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out,” the city said in a news release.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic throughout the course of the work, according to the city.

Construction is expected to continue until around mid-August.
