It’s going to be another warm day in Southern New Brunswick.
The provincial health department has issued a Level 1 Heat Alert for Metro Moncton today.
The forecast is calling for high humidex levels making it feel more like between 35 and 39 by later this afternoon.
Health officials urge you to take precautions to stay cool and frequently check on others who are more vulnerable to heat such as seniors and young children.
A Level 1 Heat Alert has also been issued for Miramichi, Rothesay, Quispamsis, Hampton and St. Stephen.
