Metro Moncton Celebrates Canada Day

The largest Canada Day celebration in New Brunswick is being held right here in Metro Moncton.

Music will be a big part of Moncton’s Whoa Canada festivities with a kids concert and play zone at Riverfront Park all afternoon.

The evening show starts at 6pm with headliner Alan Frew from Glass Tiger.

Meantime, an official ceremony will be held at Dieppe’s Place 1604 with games, face painting and music featuring the Big Bad Party Band.

Canada’s birthday coincides with Sunfest in Riverview with fun for the whole family during a celebration on Coverdale Road.

And a fireworks display over the Petitcodiac River will cap things off at 10pm.
