Around 120 high school students will gather today to learn more about mental health.
The Anglophone East School district is hosting a Mental Health Summit, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
It is being held at the Wesleyan Celebration Centre,
The students were chosen from each of the eight high schools in the region, and they will attend workshops and discussions on how to create habits that lead to positive mental health in the daily lives.
Once the summit is over, students will develop and facilitatre a project in their schools to help teach other students what they’ve learned.
