Memorial Cup semifinal: Wildcats vs. Knights

It’ll be an action-packed battle on Friday night as the Moncton Wildcats and the London Knights battle in the Memorial Cup semifinal.

Just one more win, that’s all the Moncton Wildcats need.

A victory will move them into the final to take on the Medicine Hat Tigers for all the glory.

The Moncton Wildcats have never won the Memorial Cup trophy before.

The Wildcats earned their spot in the semifinal after beating their rivals, Rimouski, 6-2 on Wednesday night. That knocked the Oceanic, who are the host team, out of the running.

The last time London and Moncton went head-to-head, it was a hard-fought battle into overtime, but London came out on top.

Friday night’s matchup gets underway at 8 p.m. Atlantic Time. The Memorial Cup final will be held on Sunday night.
