A local organization who supports non profit groups is looking for new members, but they have to be women.
100 Women Who Care of Greater Moncton will hold its quarterly meeting tonight.
Co-Organizer Tammy Rampersaud says, “Each woman donates $100 per meeting. We have at each meeting, three registered charities that come and present for five minutes. A vote is held and the charity that receives the most votes is the recipient of those funds.”
The one commitment each women must make is to make is an annual $400 dollar tax deductible donation.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at the Cocoa Room in Riverview starting at 5:45.
