McKenna Calls Liberals In Ottawa and Fredericton An “Opportunity”

Former Premier Frank McKenna was speaking at a business conference in Saint John.

When it comes to the provincial fracking moratorium, he says he is satisfied in the process saying we need to be patient on that.

As for the new Trudeau government, he says having Liberals in Ottawa and Fredericton is good for New Brunswick and calls it an opportunity.

He says we’ll see what comes of it but he says with alignment on the political level there is usually more dialogue.

He says we are lucky to have Dominic Leblanc as Government House Leader adding he is literally next to the Prime Minister in terms of controlling the agenda of the government.
