Man Sentenced Out West In Death Of Hampton Area Woman

A Regina man who struck and killed an 18 year old woman, who had lived near Hampton, on a Saskatchewan highway has been sentenced to 2 years less a day in jail.

Reports from Weyburn, Saskatchewan say 47 year old Keith Dunford will also be prohbited from driving for 3 years once he’s released from jail. He was found not guilty of criminal negligence causing death.

Highway flag person Ashley Richards died after she was struck by the S-U-V in 2012. She had just moved to Saskatchewan from Lakeside.
