A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation following a house fire in Riverview’s west end early last night.
Paramedics and neighbours had to rescue the man who has Spina Bifida.
A couple and two younger children were not home at the time.
The Red Cross is helping out the family with emergency purchases.
The two storey house on Glengarry Lane received fire and smoke damage.
