Man killed in eastern N.B. crash

A crash in eastern New Brunswick has left a 58-year-old man dead, according to Mounties.

The collision happened on Saint-Ignace Road in Saint-Ignace around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators believe an SUV took Exit 69 of Highway 11 and proceeded onto Saint-Ignace Road, where it was struck by a motorcycle.

The motorcycle driver, a 58-year-old man from Beaurivage, died at the scene from his injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not physically hurt in the crash.
