Man killed in crash near Sussex

Mounties say a 28-year-old man has died after his car left the road near Sussex over the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to Riverside Drive in Apohaqui around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe the car left the road, hit a guardrail, rolled several times and landed in a deep culvert.

The driver, who was from Drurys Cove, later died from his injuries in the hospital.
