The RCMP is asking for help from the public following a firearm incident that left a 22-year-old man injured.
Police responded to reports of a firearm discharge on Monday night in a parking lot near the 900 block of Mountain Road.
When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound.
Mounties said his injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who was in the 900 block area between 9 and 11 p.m. on Monday.
They are also asking for anyone with dash-camera or other video footage from the area at the time to contact the police.
