Man Injured After Being Struck By RCMP Cruiser

A man has been taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after Codiac RCMP say he was struck by a police cruiser at a low speed.

Around 11 o’clock Sunday night, police say they responded to a call on 10th Street in Moncton.

When officers arrived on scene, a man dressed in dark clothing was lying on the street.

Police say he was struck by the cruiser when officers didn’t realize he was there.

Corporal Julie Rogers-Marsh says the incident will be reviewed.
