Man In Critical Condition After Shooting In Fredericton

A man has been sent to hospital in critical condition after an overnight shooting in Fredericton.

Just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Fredericton Police responded to the city’s north side for reports a man had been shot outside.

When officers arrived the man was located and was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

It is believed the person or persons responsible fled in a vehicle before officers arrived.

Officials do not believe the shooting was random.
