RCMP are seeking more information or security footage of a fatal hit and run in Elsipogtog First Nation.
Police say a vehicle struck a man on Levi Street and fled the area around 1 a.m. on Friday.
The 41-year-old man, who was from the community, died at the scene from his injuries.
Later in the morning, officers seized a vehicle in connection with the incident.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist and the coroner’s office are also involved in the investigation.
