A 56-year-old man from Musquash has died after a collision between a tractor trailer and a motorcycle in Prince of Wales, west of Saint John.
First responders were called to the collision on Highway 1 around 12:30 Friday afternoon.
RCMP believe an eastbound tractor trailer hit a motorcycle which was parked on the shoulder of the highway.
The motorcycle then struck the driver who had been standing beside it.
Police say the motorcycle driver was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting in the investigation.
Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the detachment at 506-757-1020.
