Man Charged Amid Rash Of Vehicle Break-Ins Across Metro Moncton

A suspect has been arrested by Codiac RCMP in the ongoing problem of vehicle break-ins across Metro Moncton.

Police say they caught one man in the act early Tuesday morning on McAnn Street, off Elmwood Drive.

When officers made the arrest, they found a pick-up truck with its windows smashed and a man inside rummaging through the vehicle.

Remi Doucet, 41, of Moncton faces charges including mischief, trespassing at night and not complying with a probation order.

He is being held in custody until another court appearance on Wednesday.
