A Port Elgin man has been arrested in connection with three separate incidents, including a suspected arson.
Sackville RCMP responded to three separate incidents between 3 and 4am on Sunday morning, in the Port Elgin area. The first, a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 16, the second, a complaint of a man who was disturbing the peace at a home and the third, a report of a house fire.
Three people suffered injuries in the fire and were taken to hospital. Two were released, while the other is being treated for smoke inhalation.
A 61 year old man has been arrested and he remains under police supervision at hospital.
