Police have arrested two people from Elsipogtog following a suspicious house fire in West Galloway.
Members of the Richibucto RCMP and Rexton Fire Department responded to the incident earlier this month.
On Wednesday, a 31-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, both from Elsipogtog, were arrested.
The woman has since been released and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
Aaron Robert Clement appeared in court on Thursday and was charged with arson and injuring or endangering animals.
He was released and is scheduled to return to provincial court next month, to enter a plea.
