RCMP say a 28-year-old man has been arrested following an incident in Bouctouche this afternoon.
Police blocked off a portion of Highway 134 between Ryan Road and the Esso in Bouctouche this morning after a man was reportedly inside a home with a gun.
The man cooperated with police and was arrested around 2-pm.
Residents in the area were asked to stay inside as a precaution during the incident.
The highway has since reopened.
