Man Arrested, Cannabis Seized From Dieppe Business

Cannabis and other items have been seized from a Dieppe business following a search last week.

A search warrant was executed at Green Buddha/Giggles to Go on Champlain Street on Thursday.

The search was done by investigators with the Department of Justice and Public Safety’s Safer Communities program.

According to a news release from the department, a 29-year-old man was arrested and later released.

Investigators seized a quantity of cannabis, cannabis derivatives, cannabis products and other items.

“Residents are encouraged to report illegal cannabis sales, or any other criminal matter, to law enforcement,” said the news release.

The same day, officers searched Sky High 420 on Main Street in Fredericton and seized cannabis, cannabis derivatives, cannabis products and other items.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and later released. He has an April court date to face charges under the federal Cannabis Act.
