Man Arrested After String Of Break and Enters In Kent County

A string of break and enters in Kent County over the last month has led to the arrest of a Saint-Louis-de-Kent man.

Mounties say 40-year-old Alfred Savoie faces numerous charges and will remain in custody until he appears in court again on October 11.

Many of the items recovered have not yet been claimed by their owners.

RCMP are asking residents in the Saint-Charles area to check their homes, garages and sheds to see if they are missing property.

A Honda motorcycle, Werner pump jack system, power tools and grass trimmers are among the items recovered.

Contact the Richibucto Detachment of the RCMP if you believe anything has been recently stolen from your property at 506-523-4611.

Owners will be asked to provide proof of ownership or a detailed description of the items.
