A standoff on Edgett Street in Moncton, ended peacefully and with a man suspected of robbery in custody.
Codiac RCMP spend about four hours surrounding a home, and residents in the area were told to stay in their homes.
Due to a police operation Edgett, Connaught and MacBeath Avenues in #Moncton have been blocked. Drivers are asked to take alternate routes.

Officers says the man had barricaded himself inside.
Sergeant Aurele Pelletier says officers continued to negotiate with the man until he finally agreed to come out.
The man was arrested in connection with a bank robbery last month at a CIBC on Mountain Road.
Edgett, Connaught and MacBeath avenues in Moncton have been re-opened to traffic. Police operation concluded.
