Christmas lights will fill the Magnetic Hill Zoo next year in a new promotion called “Wild Lights”.
The zoo plans to open during the Christmas season in 2015.
Manager Bruce Dougan says some other features are being considered too.
“We’re also hoping on weekends to add Christmas carollers, lights shows and maybe even a ‘Breakfast with Santa’ event on some Saturdays in December.”
The zoo usually opens in March during weekends and expands to weekdays from April to October.
The Magnetic Hill zoo enjoyed a record season this year with almost 142,000 visitors passing through the gates.
