Magnetic Hill Zoo Drawing Big Crowds During Summer 2022

It has been a busy summer for visitors so far at the Magnetic Hill Zoo.

Director Jill Marvin didn’t have exact numbers for May, June and July, but says there have been big crowds, “We have exceeded our attendance numbers in all of those months, not by a great amount, but when I compare to 2019, we have exceeded our numbers.”

Marvin says there have been fewer tourists at the Zoo over the past two years due to COVID-19.

New Brunswickers and Americans made up some of those visitors in 2022, but Marvin says in July, they noted more Ontario visitors when compared to the same month in 2019.

Marvin adds that September is a strong month as well for the Magnetic Hill Zoo, and she anticipates the big crowds to continue.
