A lot of rain could fall in New Brunswick over the next few days according to Environment Canada thanks to a slow moving weather system.
The system is expected to stick around for a few days, and Meteorologist Carmen Hart says anywhere from 50 to 100 mm of rain could fall in the province this week.
“What we have is a very slow moving low pressure system, that is going to approach our region, but very slowly. It’s going to continue to pump moisture over us.”
Hart says the winds will also be a factor at times gusting up to 60 km/h.
The weather is prompting municipalities to issue warnings about clearing storm drains of leaves near your home, to slow down while driving in the event of hydroplaning or even sudden street flooding.
