Construction is about to get underway on the expansion of a local daycare.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held over the weekend for the Salvation Army Small Blessings Centre.
It was held at the Moncton Citadel Community Church.
The expansion will come with a pricetag of $1.5 million, with an add on of 6000 square feet.
This expansion will mean an additional 31 full time child care spaces, and 30 more for after school, bringing the total enrolment to 192 children.
It is expected to be completed by the fall of this year.
