MONCTON, N.B. – ‘Reckless’ and ‘arrogant’ is how the provincial Liberals’ main political foes have described the party’s election platform.
The 42-page document was unveiled by Liberal leader Brian Gallant in Moncton on Monday and includes a promise to create at least 10,000 jobs during their mandate.
NDP leader Dominic Cardy says he doesn’t believe that will happen under a Liberal government.
“The only people I’m confident are going to earn jobs under Mr. Gallant, if he became Premier of this province, is his friends and corporate buddies who will be given jobs directly by the Premier’s office.”
PC deputy premier Paul Robichaud says the Liberals are practically promising to increase the provincial debt and New Brunswickers should be concerned.
