Leaders set to square off in first election debate

You’ll have the chance to get more familiar with the issues from those vying to become New Brunswick’s next premier.

The three main party leaders will square off in the first debate of the election campaign Wednesday night.

It will feature PC Leader Blaine Higgs, Liberal Leader Susan Holt and David Coon of the Greens.

Health care, housing and the cost of living have emerged as key focus areas for all parties early on in the campaign.

The debate starts at 6 p.m. from the Capital Theatre in Moncton.
