There’s sad news for fans of the Tragically Hip. A post on the band’s website says lead singer Gord Downie has terminal brain cancer.
The band says he was diagnosed in December.
The singer of the Canadian band grew up in Kingston, Ontario.
Downie met the other members of the band at high school, and they became friends, and eventually formed The Tragically Hip.
