Moncton based polling company MQO Research is reporting a steep decline in popularity for the governing Liberal party.
Current support for Gallant’s Liberals dropped to 35 per cent, down 11 points from January of this year, while the PC popularity climbed six percentage points to 43 per cent.
NDP and Green Party support remained relatively steady at seven and 11 per cent respectively.
44 per cent of the 600 New Brunswickers polled said they were undecided or wouldn’t vote.

Meanwhile, 32 per cent of residents believed the economic outlook in New Brunswick was worse than it had been three months ago, a slight increase of 4 points.
Just over half of those polled said the economy was about the same, with only 12 per cent believing it was in better shape.
