A funeral will be held this week for the second victim in Moncton of a motorcycle accident this year.
55 year old Danny Gagnon was killed on Sunday on the Shediac Road in a collision between his motorbike and a pickup truck.
He has been described as loyal and well know and appreciated to his colleagues. He was also an extraordinary husband, father and grandfather.
Gagnon was preparing for retirement in January next year.
Four motorcyclists in the province have died in crashes this year. This has prompted the motorcycle community to start an awareness campaign, called “Look twice, save a life” in the hopes other drivers will take a second look for bikes.
